Various SDA Postions
Typical SDA Positions and Uniforms
SDA Commanders are typically the highest ranking officer within an establishment of starship, easily designated by a special uniform.
SDA Trooper
The enlisted members make up the front line and take the battle to the enemy, well equipped and trained for duty against the UPF.
SDA Officer
The commissioned officers are charged with establishing command and strategically positioning the troops. Typically skilled combatants but usually don't participate unless the ranks start to fall.
SDA Techs
The SDA Techs operate the various machinery and other equipment behind the scenes. Techs can be found in both commissioned and non-commissioned ranks alike. Medical and Environmental officers wear the same uniform with the only difference being an armband distinguishing their positions.
SDA Shock Trooper
The shock trooper is an advanced guard with armor designed for most environments, complete with gas filters in the mask and a polarized passive IR eye plate.
SDA fighter pilot and gunner
Entry level pilots start off in the various SDA fighter squadrons, and troopers/officers working their way up in weapons start off manning ship battery weapons as well as serving in the two-man fighter craft.
Sovereign High Guard
These are the elite guardsmen that are sworn to protect the highest ranking members of the SDA. They are the most skilled soldiers whose identities remain secret even amongst the top brass, only known by General Yan-Soon himself.
